hey guys, thanks for your support, both in person, in the comments, and by email/FB message. I'm doing ok, don't worry. I talked to the doctor on Friday, and she agreed that it wasn't normal. She prescribed me some low-dose anti-anxiety meds, so hopefully that'll start kicking in over the next few days.

I also have the name and number of a psychologist in Clermont who specializes in trauma victims. I'll call her on Monday and make an appointment for when I'll be back in Clermont in a few weeks.

One step at a time, I'll get there.

I'm a 28-year-old American who has been living in France since September of 2003. I became a naturalized French citizen on April 21, 2009.

I teach English at one of the universities in Clermont-Ferrand, and I'm doing a doctorate in American civilization and history at the Université Lumière Lyon II in Lyon, France.

I also own and run a small website design company based in the United States. I'm slowly adding French clients as well.
